Join Wingspan for a joyful summer celebration at our Love Leads Carnival & Art Fair, a special event that brings together creativity, music, community, and fun in support of people with developmental disabilities.
This festive afternoon will feature Wingspan’s “Love Leads” client parade, live music, games, and special visits from therapy llamas. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore and purchase art created by Wingspan clients alongside artwork from local artists, celebrating creativity and supporting inclusive artistic expression in our community.
Your presence helps support Wingspan’s programs and the individuals we serve, while creating a vibrant gathering where families, neighbors, and supporters can connect and celebrate together.

What to Expect
The day will begin with Wingspan’s “Love Leads” client parade, led by COMPAS teaching artist Christopher Lutter-Gardella, celebrating the creativity and spirit of our community. Guests can then enjoy live music by M.T. Pockets and Loose Change from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, along with games and activities throughout the event.
From 12:30 to 2:00 PM, visitors will have the chance to meet and take photos with therapy llamas from Llama Mama MN.
Guests can also browse a community art market featuring artwork created by Wingspan clients as well as pieces from talented local artists. Purchasing artwork is a wonderful way to support inclusive creative opportunities while taking home something unique.

Bring your lawn chairs if you’d like to sit and enjoy the parade!
Beverages will be available at the event.
Parking Information
Guests are asked to park at 251 Starkey St in the Bolander Construction lot on our side of the street. Starkey St will be closed from 11:30 to 11:45 AM for the parade, so please plan ahead for weekend traffic.
