Be a part of the official launch of Wingspan’s Good Neighbor Program!

Many people might not realize that they live next door to a Wingspan home. Wingspan’s Good Neighbor sponsorship program was created to connect individuals and businesses with a home that could use a helping hand right down the road.

What difference will you make? Whether you’re able to support our mission as a volunteer group participating in a yard beautification project, or able to help us cover some of the costs of tools, gloves, mulch, sod, flowers, paint, lawn services and home maintenance by adopting one or more of our sites, you can make a world of difference for clients like those in our Glenpaul group home (pictured left), who we believe deserve to come home to a beautiful space, just like their neighbors.

Homes, lawns, and landscaping all require a lot of work to maintain. While our direct service professionals provide round-the-clock care to the clients living in our group homes, we rely almost entirely on our amazing volunteers to keep our outdoor living spaces bright and clean.

Prefer to support or sponsor a home through in-kind donations? Whether it’s a gift card to a hardware store or garden center, donated flowers, a leaf blower or hedge trimmer, or making us your United Way charity of choice at your workplace, it can all be put to great use at our homes. We’d be happy to discuss any way that you prefer to give.

Helping Hands - Two Volunteer Projects

Inclusion on yard sign featuring names/logos of all businesses and individuals at your sponsorship level at subsequent fall Made in the Shade fundraiser.
Social media shout-outs on days of your volunteer events, and during National Volunteer Week in subsequent April.
Recognition on Good Neighbor plaque wall in Wingspan headquarters.
Recognition in our subsequent annual report.

Garden Partner - $250

All Helping Hands benefits.
Inclusion on a diorama at our subsequent spring Power of Love Gala. The diorama displays where our homes are located throughout the Twin Cities, with miniature homes showcasing the logo of the business sponsoring that home.
Business name/logo placement on Wingspan’s website under “Our Good Neighbors” until June 30, 2026.
Business spotlight in our quarterly Soaring Newsletter and an e-blast in 2025 or 2026.
Good Neighbor window decal for display at your business (pictured below).

Neighborhood Hero - $500

All Garden Partner benefits.
Business name/logo featured on sign in front yard of sponsored home during of spring, summer, and fall seasons until June 30, 2026.
Business name/logo displayed on tabletop sign present at all volunteer, tabling, and fundraiser events until June 30, 2026.
Verbal recognition of your business shared with any new volunteer groups that visit sponsored home until June 30, 2026.
Business name/logo recognized in thank-you mailings to donors whose gifts directly benefit sponsored home until June 30, 2026.

Community Champion - $1,000

All Neighborhood Hero benefits.
Opportunity to provide your branded merchandise to give away to other Wingspan yard beautification volunteers.
