The Power of Love Gala is Wingspan Life Resources’ annual event which raises funds to support and enhance the lives of the vulnerable people we serve–adults with developmental and other disabilities. Enjoy a silent auction, an inspirational presentation, and find out about the great programs Wingspan provides.
This year, our 50th Anniversary celebration will be held Tuesday evening, May 23rd at 6PM at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley. You won't want to miss this event! The venue is centrally located and offers plenty of free onsite parking. Stay tuned for an announcement of this year's entertainment.
We're bringing back the ice sculpture martini luge and our signature "Wingtini" at the bar, and you'll want to head to the Mystery Box table right away as the game sells out within 30 minutes during the Social Hour. As always, our large silent auction, including the fabulous gourd birdhouses, will open two weeks ahead of the event. Winners will have the option of picking winnings up at the luncheon or picking up at our Plato campus in the days that follow.
Sponsorship levels start at just $300. Individual tickets are $100. Proceeds from the gala may support needs including technology, handicap accessible vehicles, improving accessibility for any of our 29 group homes, support for our In-Home program and sustaining other important art and music enrichment programming.
