Yard Beautification
Interested in taking an hour or three to brighten someone’s season? One of our highest needs is for spring, summer, and fall yard care. A volunteer can expect to enjoy the fresh air outside one of our group homes while helping with activities like: Planting and pruning flowers, weeding, raking, laying mulch, general yard cleanup.
Come alone or with a team! We are flexible on days, times, durations, and locations.

Every May, we celebrate our mission at our Power of Love Gala and silent auction. Included in the silent auction are amazing gourd birdhouses painted by our volunteers! If you love to get artsy, we can put you on our email list that goes out every December. You can really make this opportunity your own.
All auction proceeds go toward funding the many arts and cultural activities that our clients love.
Be a Buddy
Be a Buddy
Make a friend today! We welcome crafters, scrap-bookers, and puzzle makers. Accompany a client and their staff on an outing to a baseball game, or to their favorite restaurant. Our clients love making new friends while participating in a fun activity!

Between our Power of Love Gala, Made in the Shade event, summer picnic, Annual Report photos, and many events in between, we often have need of volunteers for roles like set-up, take-down, food lines, and especially photography!
